HostGator Reviews - An Inside Analysis

Why don't people write reviews about HostGator that are accurate or truthful? It is about time someone (that is me) wrote a truthful Hostgator Review about their service. Before we begin, you need to use some common sense. The one thing you need to understand is that there is affiliate marketers trying to get you to buy through their link, so they can get a commision. If you want to read "real Customers'" of HostGator, you need to go to their forums and read the reviews posted there. I am writing this Hostgator Review, as an affiliate and a customer.

Hostgator Review - Their Strenghts How about 100% uptime? My sites have never been offline. Site speed is important for Google rankings, and my sites load very quickly. I can to a conclusion last month, after I moved all of my sites from 3 other hosts. HostGator is the best. It would be nice if HostGator joined the other major hosting companies and give away a free domain when you buy their packages. I would really like the free domain, but I like their service more than the free stuff. I have not had any server problems, and I run a lot of sites.

HostGator - Do They Have Bad Reviews?

Shared hosting is to be avoided if you want your sites to load quickly. On a Shared Server, your site is amoung 900 sites. Your site will render a bit slowly for your visitors due to that many sites being on the server. They do have a Helpdesk, but their knowledgebase is very limited and they should expand it to include answers to the basics.

This site has some great information on them: http://hostedwindowsserver.net/hostgator-hosting-review
